Riverside Tower – Riverside Tower We are in a luxury neighborhood across the street from Riverside Park 5 blocks from Central Park located 5 minutes from midtown by subway or cab with a view from your windows of the Hudson River on the same street as the Museum of Natural Histrory and Metropolitan Museum of Art. Famous people live nearby such as Madonna Barbra Streisand Bruce Willis Mick Jagger and Ben Stiller. We have single rooms double rooms and 2 room suites that hold up to 4 persons. Every room and suite has cooking facilities a waist high refrigerator microwave and dining table. Every room and suite has a private bathroom TV and telephone. There is free wi-fi in our main floor lounge. It is a very safe area. We have never had any crime in our hotel. Typical hotel guests are from all over the world and all over the United States. The Riverside Tower Hotel is conveniently situated only a few minutes stroll from an underground station. This location makes the theatres of Broadway Times Square and the luxury shops of Fifth Avenue only moments away. Guests staying at the Riverside Tower will appreciate cosy accommodations furnished with microwaves and refrigerators.

We are at the corner of 80th Street and Riverside Drive in Manhattan in New York City. For directions to get to us from the airports.DIRECTIONS TO RIVERSIDE TOWER HOTEL BY CAR1. From New EnglandI-95 to George Washington Bridge get into right hand lane as you approach the bridgelook for the yellow and black sign that says Last Exit in N.Y. and turn right.On exit road take Parkway South; there is a big green and white sign that saysParkway South which is the Henry Hudson Parkway. Exit at 79th Street from the Parkway.Go to Riverside Drive which is about another 300 feet. You want to make a left hand turn but it is illegal so instead turn right go about 20 feet to a driveway turn in to it and back out so you face north and go up one block to Riverside Drive and 80th. We are at that corner.2. From the North of New York and Canada Above New YorkTake the New York Thruway to the Palisades Parkway to the George Washington BridgeUpper Level and exit the right hand lane to Parkway South (Henry Hudson Parkway).On Parkway exit 79th street to Riverside Drive. You want to make a left hand turn but it is illegal so instead turn right go about 20 feet to a driveway turn in to it and back out so you face north and go up one block to Riverside Drive and 80th. We are at that corner.3. From Virginia Maryland Washington D.C. and parts SouthTake I-95 North to the New Jersey Turnpike to the Lincoln Tunnel exit. Out of the tunnelgo left to 42nd Street. At 42nd Street go left one block to 10th Avenue. At 10th Avenue turnright and go up to 79th Street. At 79th Street turn left and go 3 blocks to Riverside Drive.At Riverside Drive turn right one block to 80th Street. We are at that corner.4. From the West: Ohio Michigan Pennsylvania etc.Take Route 80 if you are near that interstate to the George Washington Bridge upper levelexit right hand lane to Parkway South. On the Parkway exit 79th Street to Riverside drive andturn left to 80th Street.If you are too far south of Interstate 80 instead take the Pennsylvania Turnpike to the New JerseyTurnpike to the Lincoln Tunnel exit. Out of the tunnel go left to 42nd Street. Turn left at 42nd oneblock to 10th Avenue. At 10th turn right up to 79th Street. Tell the driver you want to go to the corner of Riverside Drive and 80thStreet. Time: About 40 minutes.2. Subway $2.00. Take the Air Train to the subway. Cost: $5 per person. Take the subwayto 59th Street and change there (free transfer) to the subway #1 or #9 uptown. Get off at 79thStreet. Walk up 1 block to 80th Street. Turn left and walk 2 blocks to Riverside Drive. We are0 at that corner. Time: about 1 hour and 20 minutes.B. La Guardia 1. Taxicab about $25-$30. Tell the driver you want to go to the corner of Riverside Drive and 80thStreet. Time: About 30 minutes.2. City Bus $2.00. Go to the bus stop (there are only 2) in front of the airline terminal. Take the M60 bus. You need exact change in coins to get on. Ask for a free transfer. Take bus to the end of the line at Broadway and 106th Street. Use the transfer to get on the M104 bus. Get off at 79th Street. Walk back to 80th Street turn left and go 2 blocks to 80th Street and Riverside Drive. Time: About 1 hour.C. Newark 1. Taxicab about $55. Tell the driver you want to go to the corner of Riverside Drive and 80thStreet. Time: About 1 hour.2. Airport Bus $10 per person. Go to outside end of airline Terminal to the parking lot for buses.Go to the parking space with the sign that says ‘New Jersey Transit Bus New York City’.That takes you to the bus terminal in New York City or ‘Olympia Trails’ which takes you to 34th Street and 8th Avenue in New York City. In either case take the A or C subway uptown to 59th Street there is a free transfer to the #1 or #9 subway uptown to 79th Street. Walk up one block to 80th Street. Turn Left and walk 2 blocks to Riverside Drive. We are at that corner. Time: About 1 hour and 20 minutes. If instead you want to take a taxicab (about $8) after getting off the bus from the airport just tell the driver to take you to the corner of Riverside Drive and 80th Street.
